On 4th August, Saturn has entered Libra once again in the past nine months. It had come into Tula in November 2011 but had gone back to Virgo for a short stay there on 17th May 2012. Now, for the next 28 months it will be constantly in stay in Libra producing its best and worst results on the life on Earth.
Also, a few days ago on 31st July 2012, Shukra has ended its prolonged four month long stay in Vrishabh and now it is in Mithun Rashi till 1st Septmber 2012. Budh is in Cancer till 29th August 2012 and Mars has entered Libra on 14th August 2012. Sun too is in Cancer and will enter its swagrahi sign Leo on 17th August 2012.

Today, Jupiter ends its one year long stay in Aries (Mesh) and enters the fixed and earthy sign of Taurus (Vrishabh). This change in Guru's sign is accompanied by a few other interesting changes. Venus has become retrograde in Taurus two days ago, Sun has entered Taurus on 14th May 2012 and Saturn has gone back from Libra to Virgo yesterday for a brief period of two and half months.

Venus has entered Taurus yesterday. Every two years the most alluring and brightest of planets, Venus, gets into a retrograde movement. During this process of retrogression Shukra ends up staying for unusually longer periods in one or two Jyotish Rashis. This year it will stay for four long months in Vrishabh, its own sign where it becomes a Swagrahi.
Venus came into Taurus (Vrishabh) yesterday, 28th March 2012, and it will leave this sign to enter Gemini (Mithun) Rashi on 31st July 2012. Meanwhile, It will become retrograde in Taurus on 15th May 2012 and it will come back into a direct motion on 27th June 2012.

Saturn, the most malefic and feared among the nine Jyotish planets, has entered its Uccha Rashi. An Uccha Rashi means the sign of exaltation for a planet. Shani's sign of exaltation is Libra or Tula. Today, on 15th November 2011, Shani has entered Libra. I am giving a few indications on how this transit of Saturn will affect the life on Earth.

Every two years Mars goes retrograde and stays for a long period of around eight months in a Jyotish sign. Today, it enters Leo (Simha), a very friendly sign for it, and stays there for next eight months. Let us get some idea about what effects this interesting transit will have on all of us. Its previous retrograde and prolonged movement was in Cancer from 5th October 2009 to 26th May 2010. We had covered that transit on this website. The next such transit will be in the signs of Libra and Virgo from 4th February 2014 to 5th September 2014. During its retrograde movement a planet can go back to its previous sign where it goes direct and then re-enters the sign where it had started its retrograde movement.
