Jupiter has entered the sign of Aquarius on 5th April 2021, at 11.37 PM India time or 19.07 PM GMT. Since last one year Brihaspati was in and out of Makar Rashi, its sign of debilitation, and was troubling the masses quite seriously owing to the covid-19 epidemic. Now, as it moves in to its next sign, Kumbh, we can expect a final solution or an end to this coronavirus mystery and a return to normal life and business, in most nations.
Aquarius is a sign ruled by Saturn and Jupiter generally gives positive and long term benefits in this Earth sign. In Kumbh, Guru is considered pious and very beneficial for the people. The losses due to the policy failures, confusions and irrational decisions of the governments which trouble the people in the Jupiter transit in Capricorn end when Jupiter enters Aquarius. Today, on 20th November 2020, Jupiter is finally leaving Sagittarius (Dhanu) and entering Capricorn (Makar), its Neech rashi, its sign of debilitation. The Guru of Devas had entered Makar for a period of around 3 months earlier too in 2020, from 30th March 2020 to 30th June 2020. That was a short stay into Makar rashi and technically not an actual routine transit of Jupiter in Capricorn.
In this sign of Capricorn, Jupiter will transit together with Saturn which is already there since 24th January 2020. These two planets will be joined by Sun, Mercury and Venus too for short periods in January, February and March 2021. Jupiter will move in a direct and fast motion and enter Aquarius on 5th April 2021. Then, it will become retrograde in Aquarius on 20th June 2021 and it will re-enter Capricorn in a retrograde motion on 14th September 2021. Thereafter, Jupiter will become direct on 18th October 2021. It will finally move again to Aquarius on 20th November 2021.

Rahu and Ketu are changing signs on 23rd September 2020. Rahu will enter Taurus (Vrishabh) rashi and Ketu will enter Scorpio (Vrishchik) rashi. They were in the Gemini-Sagittarius axis since last eighteen months. As you know, these two planets always travel in retrograde motion and they will now enter the Vrishabh-Vrishchik through their last degrees after exiting Mithun-Dhanu through their first degrees.
Rahu had entered Gemini and Ketu had entered Sagittarius on 7th March 2019. Their stay in Mithun-Dhanu saw a lot of unprecedented changes and problems around the world, which were aggravated a lot after Saturn entered Makar Rashi on 24th January 2020. Due to the 6th-8th or Shadashtak yoga which was then formed between Saturn and Rahu the coronavirus epidemic had begun to affect the health and economy of the masses all over the world. This yoga ends on 23rd September 2020 when Rahu enters Taurus and Ketu enters Scorpio.

Today, on 24th January 2020, Saturn is entering Capricorn, a sign ruled by Saturn itself. In this 2020-23 transit of Shani in Makar Rashi it will consistently stay there till 29th April 2022, when it will enter Kumbh Rashi for a short time. Then, on 12th July 2022 Shani will retrograde back into Capricorn and will finally re-enter Kumbh Rashi on 17th January 2023. Makar and Kumbh are Saturn’s own signs and it becomes more powerful and effective when it is in one of these signs. Shani's usual transit in a Rashi is for around two and a half years and it completes one cycle of all twelve signs in around twenty nine to thirty years. The previous transit of Saturn in Makar Rashi was in 1990-93. On 21st March 1990 Shani entered Makar Rashi but it then went back to Dhanu Rashi in a retrograde motion on 20th June 1990. Then, again Saturn entered Capricorn on 14th December 1990 and stayed there till 5th March 1993, when it changed signs to Aquarius. But, Shani retrograded back from Kumbh Rashi to Makar Rashi on 15th October 1993. Then, it went back to Kumbh Rashi in a direct motion on 10th November 1993.

Brihaspati has changed signs today, leaving Vrishchik and entering Dhanu. Dhanu or Sagittarius, as it is called in the West, is Jupiter's own sign. it is a fire-sign. Jupiter's nature becomes more energetic, fiery, adamant and uncompromising in this sign. During this transit in Dhanu, Brihaspati will be accompanied by Ketu for around eleven months, till 23rd September 2020, and by Saturn too for initial three months till 24th January 2020. Brihaspati will transit in Dhanu rashi till 20th November 2020. During this period it will be in a three month long short transit in Makar (Capricorn) rashi too from 30th March 2020 to 30th June 2020. Guru will move to Capricorn on 30th March 2020 where it will join Shani. Then, it will turn retrograde on 14th May 2020 and will return to Dhanu rashi in retrograde motion on 30th June 2020. It will become direct on 13th September 2020 and will then re-enter Makar rashi on 20th November 2020.
