 Today, Budh has entered the airy sign of Gemini (Mithun) where it has joined Sun and Ketu in transit and like these other two planets in Mithun the Mercury too has come under the tenth aspect of Saturn from Virgo (Kanya). Ketu has been in transit in Mithun since last November and Sun had entered Gemini on 15th June 2010.
Mercury will stay in this fickle and dual natured sign, which is its own house too, till 6th July 2010. The previous transit of Budh in Mithun was from 30th June 2009 to 15th July 2009. Its next transit in Gemini will be from 14th June 2011 to 29th June 2011.

Today, Sun moved to Gemini (Mithun) ending its one month long transit in Taurus (Vrishabh). Gemini sign is already under a lot of pressure due to the double effect of Ketu's transit in it and the tenth aspect of Saturn on it from Virgo (Kanya). This pressure will remain high till Ketu leaves Mithun Rashi after one year, on 6th June 2011.
Owing to this double effect of Saturn and Ketu any planet which enters Gemini is unable to give its positive results freely. It too comes under pressure from these two planets. The previous transit of Venus was in this sign ruled by Mercury and we had seen some big setbacks and losses related to the industries ruled by Venus, like the airlines and the hospitality industry.

 From October 2009 to May 2010, Mars was in prolonged transit in Cancer (Karka), bringing much turbulent volatility to this watery sign. The heat of Mars was low but its effect on Cancer was for too long a period. Cancer born people were feeling the uneasiness and restlessness which was hampering their spiritual and material progresses. But, as Venus moves to Cancer today, the Cancer born will find solace and peace combined with good material, social and spiritual gains.

The quick-footed planet, Mercury, is going to end its long transit in Aries (Mesh) tomorrow, 6th June 2010. It had entered Mesh on 30th March 2010 and then had gone retrograde in this sign of its arch enemy, Mars. It will enter its friendly sign Taurus (Vrishabh) which is a sign owned by its natural friend Venus. Budh's previous transit in Vrishabh was from 5th June 2009 to 30th June 2009. This year it will stay in Taurus from 6th June 2010 to 22nd June 2010. This will be a direct and normal motion of Mercury. Then, in 2011 it will re-enter Taurus to stay in it from 30th May 2011 to 14th June 2011.

Saturn (Shani) has become direct today in the sign of Virgo (Kanya). Shani had begun its retrograde movement on 13th January 2010.
