Today, Venus joins Jupiter in the sign of Aquarius. This change of the sign of Venus from Makar to Kumbh will take place in the late hours. Mercury (Budh), finally ends its prolonged stay in the fire sign Sagittarius (Dhanu) and enters the Earth sign ruled by Saturn, Capricorn (Makar). It enters Capricorn in the early hours of today. The next transit of Mercury in Sagittarius will be on 26th November 2010. Then, once more this planet will be in a Yuti with Rahu and it will become retrograde too in this sign of Dhanu.

Tomorrow, on 2nd February 2010, Mercury (Budh) will be exactly conjunct with Rahu in the sign of Sagittarius (Dhanu). Mercury was retrograde in Sagittarius till a few days ago and now as it is moving in a direct motion again it crosses the constantly retrograde Rahu at 25º57' tomorrow night.
