Term Definition
Exaltation

An Exaltation means a placement of a planet in which it shows its best possible positive effects. Such a planet is called an Exalted planet. The Sanskrit term for exaltation is 'Uccha' and the exalted planet is called an 'Uccha Graha'. The sign of exaltation is called an 'Uccha Rashi'
Gemtherapy
Gemtherapy is a type of Jyotish remedy in which precious and semi-precious gemstones are used to alter the influence of planets in one's Horoscope. The most commonly used gems in Gemtherapy are:

Sapphire, Diamond, Emerald, Pearl, Hessonite (Gomedh), Cats Eye (Lehsuniya), Ruby, Topaz, Coral, Tourmaline, Aquamarine, and a lot more. There are many kinds of gemstones and almost all of them are used in Gemtherapy.

Horoscope
A horoscope is the birth chart which is calculated using the Date, Time and Place of birth of a person. The horoscope is actually a map of the sky over the place where the person was born at the time and date of his birth.

The horoscope consists of Zodiacs and planets. A horoscope forms the basic study tool in astrology and Jyotish. The horoscope is studied to analyse the personality, life, past, present and future of a person.
The horoscope is called a 'Kundali' in Jyotish.
Jaipur

Jaipur is the capital city of the state of Rajasthan in India. Jaipur was founded by Raja Jai Singh. It is famous among tourists for its palaces, forts and temples.


Jaipur is also the main hub of gems and jewelery trade in Asia.

Janma Rashi

A Janma Rashi is the Rashi (sign) in which the Moon (Chandra) was placed in one's horoscope at the time of one's birth. Janma Rashi is also called 'Chandra Rashi' or Moon Sign.

Janma Rashi is also used as an alternate Lagna (ascendant) when analyzing a horoscope. In Jyotish it is considered only second to the actual Lagna in importance.
